Recruits and trains adult volunteers willing to act as court appointed guardians to serve the elderly, indigent and incompetent residents of Stark County who are in need of court guardianship. Volunteers visit adult wards at local nursing homes, group homes, and private residences. They speak with the ward, their guardian, and their caretakers to find out what life is like for the ward. Then they file a report with the Court that describes the ward’s quality of care and overall well-being.
