JUVENILE MEDIATION | LICKING COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS
Mediation is a process utilized throughout the continuum of Court services from early prevention to re-entry from Department of Youth Services to promote reconciliation, settlement, or compromise. The emphasis is on facilitating a dialogue that allows each party to discuss the full impact of the conflict, to assist each other's common humanity, despite the conflict. Mediation is a facilitated process, supporting individuals working together to develop their own solutions and to assume responsibility for arriving at an agreement.
