SUMMER PROGRAM FOR YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES | INDEPENDENT LIVING CENTER OF NCO
Each annual program has focused theme, including recreational activities for youth with disabilities. Events held weekly and run for 8 to 10 weeks, beginning the first week of Jun, and are 2 hours long. * Note: Parents/caregivers must accompany the youth and are responsible for transportation to and from events. Events occur rain or shine, unless weather is critical and may have to change location so check with the office when in doubt. With social distancing PPE provided and mandated guidelines for the health and safety of all in place.

Application process
Forms are available at Independent Living Center of NCO office for registration. No cost for attendees. Must come into office and fill-out intake. Locations are subject to change based on availability.

Youth ages 7 to 17. Must have a disability.

A non-residential agency offering services for individuals with disabilities that will assist them in remaining active and independent within their homes and communities. Provides the following core services as defined by Administration for Community Living for Individuals with Disabilities: Information and Referral, Peer Support, Advocacy, Independent Living Skills Youth Transition, Institutional Transition, and Diversion Services. Working for, and WITH, individuals with disabilities in the North Central Ohio area included: Richland, Crawford, Morrow, Knox, Ashland and Huron counties.
