UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON - ECHO (EMPOWERING CHILDREN WITH HOPE AND OPPORTUNITY)
The Empowering Children with Hope and Opportunity (ECHO) program works with local schools to help eliminate non-academic obstacles from education. In today’s world, students are subjected to an array of traumatic events, which may require the assistance of a licensed clinical counselor or social worker. The ECHO program believes in an overall approach to aiding our students’ academic success. This is why we provide a number of mental health and counseling services to local schools. Services Include: -Social and Emotional Programs -Individual Counseling -Crisis Intervention -Family Advocacy -Clinical Referrals -Peer Mentoring -Student Retreats -Family Counseling -Community Partnerships -Professional Development for School Faculty
