Serves Harrison County parents and guardians with an infant child age birth through 12 months who cannot purchase a safe place for the infant to sleep.

Description

Provides education and information concerning infant sleep safety to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Participants sit through a short class to learn best practices such as placing the infant on its back to sleep in an empty crib and not sharing a bed with the infant. Provides qualified families with a portable crib upon completion of class.
