Eligibility

Age 60 and older. Individuals must live in the home and either be listed on the deed as owner or have a life estate or life lease. Individuals must reside in Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto or Vinton counties and must meet income requirements.

Description

Provides assistance with paying for repairs and/or modifications, such as heating systems, plumbing and/or septic issues, hot water tanks, water taps and lines, hazardous electrical systems, severely deteriorated roofs, walls, and floors, ramps for accessibility, and kitchen and bathroom modifications for accessibility. Weatherization and beautification services CANNOT be provided. Service can be to residence only, no outbuildings, garages, etc.
