Mercer County Board Of Developmental Disabilities - Early Childhood Services - Early Intervention And Autism | Mercer County Board Of Developmental Disabilities
The PLAY ProjectT is a parent implemented, intensive early intervention program for young children with autism. Early intervention can make a profound difference in the life course of these children, and outcomes show significant imrovement in a child's social skills, compliance, social emotional development, and autism symptomology. Children learn best through play in the natural environment of the home, and leads to improvements in parent-child interaction and decreased parent stress and depression.
