Description

Provides a municipal court serving the communities of Shaker Heights, University Heights, Beachwood, Hunting Valley, and Pepper Pike. Hears misdemeanors and ordinance violations and can hold initial hearings on felony cases. Has jurisdiction in civil matters up to $15,000 and up to $3,000 in small claims court. Functions also as a local traffic and eviction court. Maintains records of legal proceedings.
