Eligibility
  • Applicants who live or work in Covington, applicants who work at least 20 hours per week, and applicants who are elderly or disabled are given waiting list priority.
  • Applicants' annual household income must be within the low-income limit set by HUD, which cannot exceed 80% of the area median income.
  • Each person who would reside in the unit must be a US citizen or non-citizen with eligible immigration status.
  • All applicants for Golden Towers and Academy Flats must meet the above criteria and be 62 years of age or older, or age 50-61 and have a documented disability.

Application required. Applications may be printed from the website when waitlists are open. Completed applications may be hand-delivered or returned by mail.

Fees

No fee to apply. Rent costs are based on 30% of a household's monthly adjusted gross income.
