Centering Pregnancy | Care Alliance Health Center

Offers an alternative program of prenatal care in which pregnant women, after their initial obstetrics intake, are assigned to a group of 8-12 women, generally with similar due dates. The group meets together every other week for 10 sessions, and may also meet in the postpartum period to share their experiences. A doctor meets with them throughout, and provides medical assessment and care. Participants may be assisted by a case manager from Moms First who will link them to needed services throughout the pregnancy and through the first year. Father, relative, or friends may attend with the mother, if preferred.
