Provides a variety of sports teams and leagues for youth and adults as well as access to recreational and sporting facilities. Facilities include 2 outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball/softball diamonds, volleyball courts, running tracks, an indoor ice rink, parks and picnic areas with grills. Offerings included are ice hockey, figure skating, swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, basketball, baseball, softball and Junior Olympics.

(October- April) M-F: 6:00am-10:00pm; Sa: 7:00am-7:00pm; Su: 9:00am-7:00pm.

Eligible individuals pay appropriate fees in order to use facilities. Call for information or walk in (October-May) M-F: 9:00am-9:00pm; Sa: 8:00am-6:00pm ; Su: 10:00am-5:00pm. (June-September) M-F: 9:00am-8:00pm; Sa: 8:00am-5:00pm; Su: 10:00am-5:00pm for information. For participation in sports leagues, registration dates vary by sport but are usually prioritized for participation so those who are residents and/or returning players are given the first opportunities to register. Some programs have registration at scheduled play dates.
Fee
Fixed fee. Non-residents pay a higher fee. Separate fees for skating and use of the field house may also apply. Some financial assistance available for children of needy Cleveland Heights residents; call for information.
Eligibility
Adult (18 and over) access to facilities is limited to residents of Cleveland Heights who have a recreation ID, with the exception of skating which is open to non-residents. Youth access to facilities is available to those aged 5-17 (K-12 grades) who reside in the Cleveland Heights/University Heights School District, which includes most of Cleveland Heights, all of University Heights and a small part of South Euclid; call for boundaries. Youth younger than 16 may not use the fitness center and track unless accompanied by a paying adult. Adult sports leagues may include resident teams as well as non-resident teams. Adult resident teams consist of 60% Cleveland Heights residents. Youth sports leagues (with the exception of hockey) are available to those who attend schools in the Cleveland Heights/University Heights School District (see description above.)
