Provides information and case file review for those dealing with child support and child custody issues. Includes an assessment of the situation, recommendations, and help following up with county child support offices, Juvenile Court, and Domestic Relations Court. Will accompany clients to mediation meetings or to court, but will not legally represent clients. Will explain and assist with filling out forms the client may have received from the courts. If needed, this agency will provide their own forms for the client to fill out (depending on the situation).

Phone for information or to make an appointment anytime (if no answer, leave a message and the call will be returned within 1-2 business days). Callers will be assessed first to see if this program is suitable to their needs or situation. If so, callers will be given an appointment.

Fee

Fixed fee (generally lower than attorney's fees: price may be as high as $350-$500 depending on what is needed.

Eligibility

No geographic restrictions. For child support cases, can only help once a child support order has already been established. If case is too complicated, this service may not be able to help and the client will be advised to seek an attorney.
