COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT) - PERRY | PERRY COUNTY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Perry County CERT is a group of trained individuals that are prepared to respond to both natural and man-made disasters. CERT educates the community about disaster preparedness CERT is a 20 hour course designed to teach citizens how to take care of themselves and their neighbors for 72 hours (3 days). Teaches basic first aid, fire suppression, search and rescue, and preparedness. With this course, citizens can be part of the County Team to help people after disasters and assist emergency responders.
