Free Emergency (911) Cell Phones | Geauga County Sheriff's Office

Provides cell phones to those who would benefit from having quick, mobile access to emergency services such as: victims of domestic violence, older adults, individuals with disabilities, or witnesses to crime. Will also provide phones to those in other situations (such as a family that does not have any other means of telephone service). Cell phones can only be used to dial "911".

Serves Geauga County. Eligibilty is determined on a case-by-case basis. Serves those in situations where mobile access to 9-1-1 service would of special benefit to their health and safety, as well as those who have no other means of accessing emergency services by phone.
