Angel Tree | Salvation Army - Dover/New Philadelphia Corps

Provides assistance to families in the county, providing a food box for the holiday meal as well as toys for children ages 12 and under. Provides each child with a new coat. All individuals and families receiving assistance through the program will also receive hats, gloves, and scarves regardless of age.

Application process

Call the office at extension 305 to schedule an appointment to apply. - The agency is continuing to have issues with their phones so if you are not able to get ahold of them you can send a message through Facebook or send a text message to 330-934-2027 (this number cannot receive phone calls/voicemails) if you would like to set up an appointment. When messaging include your name, phone number, total number of people in the home, and children’s ages. Individuals will be called to schedule an appointment.

Eligibility

- Serves low-income households residing in Tuscarawas County. - Gifts are for families with children age 12 and under (gifts are only for the household with custody of the child). - If a family is applying for holiday assistance through Share-A-Christmas, or any other church, organization, or agency, they are not eligible to apply through The Salvation Army.
