Hours

Mentors are required to commit to at least one face-to-face meeting per month and one phone call per week. Activities take place as arranged between participants.

Eligibility

Mentees: Youth age 5 through 15 who have survived burn trauma. Mentors: Adults age 18 and older who are active or retired firefighters. Mentors must pass a background check.

Aluminum Cans For Burned Children Of Northeast Ohio

Operates an aluminum beverage can recycling program. Proceeds from recycling are used to provide fire safety education, camps for burn survivors, and nonmedical needs of burn patients. Uses two fire safety houses to teach young children about fire prevention and fire safety.
