Alternative Sentencing And Probation | Geauga County Court Of Common Pleas - General Division

Provides formal supervision for those awaiting trial or on community control (probation) as ordered by the court. Supervises probationers and monitors compliance to the conditions of their probation as well as providing other services such as referrals for social services. Provides specialized probation services for those needing intensive supervision such as those with mental illness, Developmental Disabilities, and sex offenders. Places offenders into drug treatment when needed. Provides case management for those in drug treatment and acts as a liaison between the court, client, and treatment facility. Also supervises persons in the work release and home detention programs.

Phone for information. Must be placed on probation or court supervised release by the Geauga County Common Pleas Court. Some specialized programs are by court order, others may be referred by a Probation Officer.

Fixed fee for some services; fees may be waived for indigent persons

Adults 18 and older who are charged with or convicted of a felony in the Geauga County Common Pleas Court.
