Eligibility

Open to children ages 3-5 in Cuyahoga County. Income criteria are based on federal poverty guidelines and number of children in family - call for complete information. Special needs children are accepted at every site.

Required documents

Birth Certificate Immunization Record Proof of Income Social Security Card for Child.

Hours

Administrative services: M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. Head Start hours: M-F: 8:30am-12:00noon or 12:45pm-4:15pm, generally according to the Cleveland Public Schools calendar, though there may be exceptions. Four sites with full-day service are available. Sites are open M-F: 7:30am-6:00pm.

Application process

Call M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. Initial screening can be done on the phone, and applicant will be advised of most convenient site(s). Then an appointment will be made to come in to complete paperwork.
