Eligibility

  • Serves adults age 25 and over who have an identifiable physical or developmental disability and need additional supports in preparation for competitive or supported employment.
  • Young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 must have an OOD waiver to participate.

Fees

Financial support available to those who qualify through County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, Individual Options Waiver and Level 1 Waiver.

Service area

Summit County, Ohio
Promotes development of work skills and behaviors to prepare for community-based work opportunities. Training through facility-based work experience for adults who have physical/developmental disabilities. Participants perform jobs in areas such as sub-assembly, packaging, janitorial services, mail delivery, and material handling. Program offers community-based instruction, nursing support, personal care, social services, advocacy, and referral. Transportation to and from the program is available.
