Deed In Escrow | Cuyahoga County Land Reutilization Corporation

Provides homes available for renovation to qualified purchasers. Purchasers agree to renovate the home as required within time period specified in the sales agreement. Timeline and budget work are reviewed by land bank staff. At the time of agreement, the title/deed to the home is held in escrow until the renovations are complete and a Certificate of Occupancy is obtained.

Application process

Contact for information or application. Purchaser must pull all necessary permits, resolve Point of Sale violations and execute whatever is necessary to complete renovations. If Renovations are not completed within the time frame, the title will be retained by the land Bank. Potential purchaser will lose their financial investment in the renovations. Once renovations are completed, purchaser pays the escrow agent the contract purchase price, along with other items listed in the purchase agreement and closing fees.

Fee

Costs associated with labor, materials, supplies, etc. are financial responsibility of the purchaser.

Eligibility

Buyers must reside in Cuyahoga County or designate a local agent authorized to accept notice on behalf of the purchaser.
