Provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) boards to visitors who are nonverbal, minimally speaking, or language-learning for communication purposes. The AAC board was designed for the Akron Zoo and includes the animals, areas in the park, and frequently asked questions that can be pointed at to communicate with others.

Akron Zoological Park

The Akron Zoological Park is set on 77 wooded acres and offers an up close look at over 700 animals. Features include Pride of Africa, Legends of the Wild, Komodo Kingdom, Penguin Point, and the Lehner Family Zoo Gardens. Train rides, gift shop, and cafe are available.
