Offering a free craft program designed for resident children. The parks and playgrounds are staffed with an attendant who will help create crafts with children on a first come, first served basis during the specified times. "Treat Yo-Self Tuesdays" will include free activities for crafters such as face painting, hair wraps, temporary tattoos, mini-manicures and so forth.

2025 program will run from Monday June 9th to Friday July 25th, with the exception of Wednesday July 3rd evening and all day Friday July 4th, 2025. First come, first served. - Monday through Thursday: -- Bleser Park located at 33800 Electric Boulevard in Avon Lake from 10:00am to 2:00pm. -- Weiss Field located at 33401 Webber Road in Avon Lake from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. - Tuesday and Thursday: -- Sunset Park located at Division Road and Stoneybrook in Avon Lake from 10:00am to Noon. -- Overlook Park located at Oakwood Drive and Forest Boulevard in Avon Lake from 10:00am to Noon. -- Belle Road Park located at 360 Armour Road in Avon Lake from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. -- Resatar Park located at 31755 Electric Boulevard in Avon Lake from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.. - Wednesday and Friday: -- Redwood Elementary School located at 32967 Redwood Boulevard in Avon Lake from 10:00am to Noon. -- Wedgewood Park located at Wedgewood and Jaycox in Avon Lake from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Generally begins the week before Father's Day.
