Eligibility
Serves families in Darke County sustaining a Governor declared disaster. In addition, household must have at least one child under the age of 18 (or through 19 if the child is still in high school), pregnant women (from conception to delivery), and (in certain cases) the non-custodial parent. Also served individuals with no children who are ge 55 and older and adults with a documented disability and receiving disability payments (SSI, SSA, VA, Railroad, or Black Lung or other disability assistance as recognized by Darke County Job and Family Services). Family must have income which is at or below 250% of the Federal poverty level. At least one member of the family must be a U.S. citizen or qualified alien. Loss must not be covered by insurance.
