Families with a child up to age 18 or through age 20 if disabled who is having severe emotional difficulties. Serves Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Portage and Summit counties.
Up to six hours per week for up to three months depending on the family's needs.

Description

Provides intensive counseling services to families who are experiencing stress. Counseling may include anger management, conflict resolution, stress/anxiety management, and self esteem improvement. The program supports children and adolescents in coping with mental health diagnoses and help parents to understand and manage their child’s emotional and behavioral problems. Communication skills training provided to both the parents and children.
