Undesignated Temporary Financial Assistance (PREVENTION, RETENTION & CONTINGENCY) | Butler County Department Of Job And Family Services
Provides short-term assistance to help families overcome emergent barriers to obtaining and retaining employment. Assistance may be provided for employment-related or training-related needs, such as transportation expenses, work or school uniforms, or school fees or supplies. Assistance may also be provided for needs that could de-stabilize employment, including rent and utility expenses, childcare, and car repairs. This program is also known as PRC.

Eligibility
Open to Butler County residents age 18 and over who:
- are at least 6 months pregnant, or are the parent of a child under the age of 18, including non-custodial parents
- have a household income at or below 200% of the current Federal Poverty Level
- have not received assistance through PRC within the last 12 months, and
- are employed or have an employment offer or other verifiable income sufficient to meet ongoing needs
