This court has jurisdiction over civil matters in dispute of $15,000.00 or less, as well as eviction and landlord-tenant matters. In the small claims division, the monetary jurisdiction is limited to $6,000.00 or less.

Licking County Municipal Court

This court has jurisdiction over all traffic and criminal misdemeanors that occur in Licking County, Ohio. The Court also handles preliminary matters in felony cases and has jurisdiction over civil cases involving claims of up to $15,000.00. In addition, the Licking County Municipal Court has a Small Claims Division. Small Claims Court hears disputes for money damages ONLY, in amounts not to exceed $3,000.
