Serves Ohio residents 18 and older. Free over-the-phone or online counseling is available to anyone. Nicotine replacement is given as part of coaching process and may only be available once the client has met certain coaching goals. Coaching can be on-going; however; individuals can only receive nicotine replacement once in a 12 month period.

Description

Provides a coaching program for people who want to quit using tobacco. Trained counselors guide and support the client throughout the quitting process using phone calls, text messages, and a quit plan maintained through a phone app and/or web site. Eligible, enrolled clients receive a free, four-week supply of nicotine replacements (in the form of patches, gum, or lozenges). If the caller has insurance, and it is a company that is working with (funding) the quit line, they may be able to receive up to an 8 week supply.
