A person may create a DNR order in consultation with a physician, certified nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, or physician assistant. The Ohio Department of Health only provides information about the procedure's protocol. Medical questions should be discussed with a physician. Legal questions should be addressed with an attorney.
