Provides the Head Start program at numerous sites throughout Allen County.  Works to develop social competence and school readiness in children and to empower their parents/caregivers to assist them.  Provides services including nutrition and special education. All children are given a developmental screening and referred to supportive services based on the results.

Assists low-income county residents in Allen, Auglaize, and Mercer County to improve their situations through rent and utility assistance, homeownership,financial management, various social services, Head Start programs, and information/referral services.
