Call the OSU Summit EFNEP or email [email protected] for more information. Sessions are held at sites within the community. Sessions can be scheduled at local agencies, community centers, schools, churches, and so forth. Call to schedule a session for a group.

Description

Offers research-based nutrition information for adults in a series of eight interactive lessons and for youth in a series of four interactive lessons. Topics covered for adults include Balance Health Diet and Physical Activity, Protect Your Family from Foodborne Illnesses, Stretch Your Food Dollars, Make Healthier Food Choices and Parenting Tips to Feed the Picky Eater. All adult sessions include a food tasting, free gift, and physical activity. Topics covered for youth include MyPlate Basics, Veggies/Fruits/Dairy and Food Safety. All youth sessions include physical activity.
