Utility Service Payment Assistance (DYNEGY ENERGY AID) | Dollar Energy Fund
Open to customers of AEP Ohio or Duke Energy with Dynegy as their energy supplier who:
- are at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines
- have an overdue utility bill (you do not need a disconnect notice to qualify)
- are experiencing a financial crisis
Note: If the maximum grant amount ($350) will not restore service or stop termination, the application will be denied. Funds can be awarded once in a 12-month period.

Provides limited assistance to AEP Ohio and Duke Energy customers in Ohio with Dynegy as their municipal aggregated energy supplier. Applications accepted January 1st-December 31st while funding is available. Applicants can receive up to $350 once per year. Assistance is applied directly to the electric bill.
