Supported Living Services For Adults With Disabilities (TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY TRUST FUND) | Kentucky Department For Aging And Independent Living

Offers grants to be used towards the cost of obtaining services that support the ability of individuals with disabilities resulting from a brain injury to remain in their home. Examples of supports that grant funding may be requested for include home and vehicle modifications, respite care, personal care services, adaptive and therapeutic equipment, etc.

Eligibility

Open to residents of Kentucky with a partial or total disability caused by injury to the brain. 

  • Eligible individuals have impaired cognitive abilities or impaired brain function resulting from physical trauma, damage resulting from a lack of oxygen, allergic conditions, toxic substances, and other medical incidents
  • No income eligibility criteria apply, however the applicant must be without alternative viable funding sources for needed services
