Eligibility

New Directions youth advocacy services are available to children and teens who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, teen dating violence or other forms of trauma. Services are open to youth, whether they are staying in our shelter, living in the community or connected through schools or partner agencies. All youth advocacy services are free, confidential and voluntary.

New Directions is committed to ensuring language is never a barrier to safety or support. Staff use LanguageLine Services, which allows them to connect with trained interpreters in over 240 languages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
