Holds hearings to determine the market value of property when property owners appeal the value placed on the assessment rolls for their property. Taxpayers who feel their property values are too high have the opportunity to file a complaint and appeal to the Board of Revision for property value reduction. The board is composed of the county auditor, the county treasurer, and a member of the board of county commissioners or their representatives.
