Provides assistance to parents with minor children who are seeking financial support from a noncustodial parent. Administers child support and enforcement services, including location of non-custodial parents, establishment of paternity, establishment of financial and medical support, enforcement and collection of support payments, and review and modification of support orders.

Application process
Applications may be started in-person or by phone with the office in the applicant's county of residence, by calling the child support hotline, or online at https://csws.chfs.ky.gov/csws/General/Landing.aspx Note: Child support enforcement services are automatically provided to current and former recipients of K-TAP and public medical assistance.
Eligibility
Anyone who has physical custody of a child and needs assistance establishing a child support order or with collection of current or past-due child support payments is eligible to apply for child support services. Either parent may apply for assistance with the establishment of paternity or a review and modification of existing support orders.
