Serves those who can no longer take care of their pet (dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.) in Geauga County. Limited space available. Service is prioritized to individuals needing service who reside in Geauga County.

Application process

No walk-ins. Must fill out surrender form via website. Client will be notified by an employee of Rescue Village when the form is received. If shelter is able to accept the pet, they will then schedule an appointment for surrender. May phone for information Tu-Su: 12:00noon-4:00pm.

Description

Accepts surrendered pets that their owners can no longer care for. Organization has trained volunteers who take care of and work with the animals to prepare them for adoption. Animals are kept in care until adopted.
