Federally subsidized through the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing Authority's Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program provide housing subsidy in a variety of apartments giving low income individuals the opportunity to live in dignity while paying an affordable rent.
