Homeowners who own and occupy their home as their principal place of residence. Must be living in the home on January 1st of the year they file for the reduction. A homeowner and spouse can claim this tax reduction on only one home. Reduction will not be applied to those who live in communities that have passed a new or replacement levy after August 2013.
