For information and site locations phone M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm or go to website anytime, then drive vehicle to a site for service. Owners of vehicles are notified by mail about 90 days before registration of the last test expires. Test is good for 365 days, so may go before expiration date. Best time to have the vehicle tested is Tu-F before 10:00am and after 3:00pm. Best to avoid Mondays, the end of month, and the day after holidays.
May receive either one free passing test or up to three total tests in a 365-day period. After the allotted free tests, a motorist will be required to purchase a voucher for any subsequent tests. Fixed fee for reprints of inspection reports.

Description
Seeks to improve air quality through inspections which identify vehicles in need of emissions repair. Vehicles are tested to ensure the vehicle's emmissions control equipment is working properly. Must meet emissions standards for the year vehicle was manufactured. Vehicles must be inspected every two years. Even number model vehicles are inspected in even numbered years; odd number model vehicles inspected in odd numbered years. Vehicles four years old or newer do not have to be tested.
