Girls On The Run | Girls On The Run Northeast Ohio

Offers a character building program of experiential learning through running. Teaches self-esteem as well as social and personal skills. Provides a non-competitive 5K event. Trained volunteer coaches lead small teams through a research-based curricula, which includes dynamic discussions, activities and running games to encourage positive emotional, spiritual, social, mental, and physical development.

Hours

Practice sessions are held twice a week over the 8-week curriculum of the program. Program available twice a year, in the fall and spring. Spring season begins in early-March and ends in late May. Fall season begins in mid-September and ends in November. Call for program hours and locations.

- Girls on the Run: Serves girls in grades 3rd through 5th residing in Lorain, Medina, Portage, Cuyahoga, and Lake counties. - Heart and Sole: Serves girls in grades 6th through 8th residing in Lorain, Medina, Portage, Cuyahoga, and Lake counties.
