Provides veterans and their dependents United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) accredited Veterans Service Officers (VSOs) to assist them in understanding VA benefits and in filing claims. Provides services such as explaining benefits, filling out forms, forwarding claims for processing and representing veterans in appeals.

Provides assistance to veterans and/or their families (including widows and orphans of deceased veterans) in obtaining the benefits that they are entitled to. Develops public policy proposals designed to improve the quality of life for Vietnam-era veterans (and others), especially in the areas of employment, education, vocational training, and health. Offers membership to Vietnam-era veterans.
