Paratransit Curb Service | Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action Organization
Offers door-to-door service for qualified non-disabled seniors and people with disabilities. Service for those with disabilities is only available to and from destinations within 3/4 mile of fixed bus routes. Drivers will only wait at destinations for 5 minutes before leaving. Drivers do not carry riders or lift packages.

Application process
To apply for a Curb Service card or to schedule a ride, walk in or phone M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. Ride scheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance. Personal care assistants must be authorized at the time of registration.
Fee
Fixed fee each way. Personal care attendants (as defined by ADA) who accompany a paratransit customer ride free, but must be registered with Lawrence County Transit.
Eligibility
Must be disabled or age 60 or older, in Lawrence County.
