Utility Arrearage Payment Plans (SPECIAL RECONNECT ORDER) | Aes Ohio
Allows customers to make a $175 payment in order to prevent disconnection or restore services between October 13, 2025 and April 15, 2026. A Special Reconnect Order (also known as Winter Rule) can be used once per season and will only maintain services for 30 days. After the Order expires, customers will be required to pay a monthly payment plan amount for the remaining bill balance in addition to their current charges each month.

Open to AES Ohio residential customers who have been disconnected, are at risk of disconnection, or are attempting to establish new electric service. No income eligibility criteria applies.
