Serves residents who meet financial eligibility criteria (household income below 125% of current federal poverty guidelines with limited assets). Will evaluate applicants with gross income up to 200% of current federal poverty guidelines and older adults (age 60+) when determining financial eligibility for service. Applicant's problem must also meet case acceptance guidelines .
None required to apply for assistance but all papers related to legal problem will be needed.
M, W, F: 9:00am-4:00pm T, Th: 9:00am-2:00pm. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online. Walk in intakes: T, Th: 9:00am-1:00pm.

In-person intake interviews may be available when necessary to ensure access to organization's services based on individual circumstances. Those who walk into the building M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm can fill out a card to request a call back from an intake specialist.

Description

Evaluates cases related to motor vehicle accidents where applicant is being sued for money damages, did not have insurance at time of accident, has not been convicted or plead guilty; denies wrongdoing,and at risk of garnishment and damages claim is over $2,000.
