UBUNTU INDIVIDUAL LEARNING CENTER | EAST END NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE
Provides tutoring in math, reading, and language arts, as well as other character development curricula. Learning Center promotes fluency in reading and comprehension of math concepts, while developing self-determination and self-pride in their studies. Offers classes in computer use and leadership development.Youth development programs include African drumming, anger management, and martial science. Capacity of the program is 65.

Offered during hours when schools are not in session, including before and after school, winter, spring break, and a summer program. Hours from September-May are M-F: 2:30-6:00pm. June-August (and school break) hours are M-F: 6:30am-6:00pm.

Phone or walk in for information, or to apply, M-F: 9:00am-5:00pm. Registration is ongoing throughout the school year. Families who are income-eligible for county child care vouchers, but who have not applied at the time of enrollment in the organization's program, will be helped onsite to apply. There is a waiting list for this program or service when the program is full. Wait time is about one month. Schools wishing to participate in the program may also call during above hours or leave a message 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
