MI CASA HOUSING PROGRAM - MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE PREVENTION | SPANISH AMERICAN COMMITTEE

Provides counseling services for mortgage delinquency or foreclosure problems. Sessions are held one-on-one or in groups. Agency provides housing counselors certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Service includes developing a plan for reinstatement by lenders, modifying mortgage loan documents, negotiating agreements with lenders, and helping with finding mortgage relief programs.

Serves Hispanics and non-Hispanics who are residents of Cuyahoga County or those who own property in the County, those who have investment property that is being foreclosed, and homeowners who are living on their own property that is being foreclosed.
