Eligibility

Tutoring is for ages 5-16 (grades K-10). Other services are for ages 5 - 18 who are enrolled in the school district which includes most of Cleveland, parts of Brook park and Garfield Heights, and all of Bratenahl, Linndale and Newburgh Heights. Free tutoring is only for students at schools that have failed to meet federal standards for at least two consecutive years.

Phone for information M-F: 8:30am - 4:30pm. To see if child qualifies for free tutoring and to arrange tutoring, call M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Fees

Some of the examinations have fees, Other services are free. Students at schools that have failed to make progress according to federal standards are eligible for free tutoring.

Description

Provides support and preparation services testings required by statute and college entrance exams. Administers state proficiency and various aptitude/achievement and intelligence tests. Tutoring may be available for students who need it to pass these examinations.
