- Serves residents of Columbiana, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Wayne counties. - Gross household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines OR must be an older adult age 60 or over. - Case acceptance is based on a variety of criteria including case type, level of service required, goal of representation, merit and availability of staff. Other criteria may apply based on the details of the case. - Even if a caller does not qualify for agency services, Community Legal Aid is often able to refer callers to another appropriate program.
- If possible, callers should collect legal documents related to the case in order to provide information during the screening process. - Must complete a Community Legal Aid Divorce Application. Legal HelpLine Hours: Monday - Thursday: 9:00am to Noon 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Friday: 9:00am to Noon. Online application system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
