Offers therapeutic sessions in which the therapist works on a one-to-one basis with clients to help them resolve their mental, emotional or social problems in anxiety, life transitions, trauma and abuse, depression, and many other common concerns.

Call and complete a phone screening or complete the form on the website at www.uakron.edu/psychology/clinic. No walk-in services are offered. Appointments can be schedule in person and virtually.

Eligibility

Serves residents of Summit County who are age 18 and over. Assist students of the University of Akron as well as Summit County residents. Note: Does not accept clients who are under the age of 18, actively suicidal, court referred, seeking couples or family counseling, actively experiencing psychotic symptoms, individuals actively abusing substance, or recently released from inpatient substance treatment.
