Application process

- Scheduling is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online at www.uwsummitmedina.org/services/financial-empowerment-center or call the Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) to schedule. - For in-person appointments: Arrive 10 minutes prior to appointment to sign in. If client anticipates being 15 or more minutes late, please call the location to see if staff are able to accommodate a different time. If not, staff will reschedule the appointment.

Fees

All financial coaching services, including credit report analysis, are provided at no charge to any adult living or working in Medina or Summit County regardless of income level.

Provides free, one-on-one financial counseling by professionally trained coaches. Teaches individuals and families skills to budget, save, develop healthy banking relationships, and improve credit scores. Provides legacy planning to review and organize assets, review insurance and titles, and connect clients to free resources to prepare legacy planning documents. Also provides assistance with defaulted student loans.
